Abstract: The AITUC’s 1995 Working Women’s Convention in Delhi was called to look at the need to organise women workers and bring them into the trade union fold. Bardhan); Women in political participation and decision making (AITUC secretary Amarjeet Kaur); 8 March-International Women’s Day; Towards Beijing – 4th World Conference to set women’s agenda into next century; Women against SAP; Making South Concerns Everyone’s Concerns; The unfinished circle (Nurses Union general secretary Marykutty Philip); Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women; Hindi language articles.
