dc.description.abstract | This follows on from the first report by WFTU General Secretary Saillant about the decline of workers’ living conditions in capitalist and colonial countries. It looks at the fundamental world situation to see the stage of countries’ economic development and their degree of dependence on imperialist groups and governments. The aim of the booklet is to draw worker and the world trade union movement’s attention to the development of monopoly domination over national and world economies, to understand people’s living conditions, to show the urgent need for development and progress of the entire society, and what workers and trade unionists must do to counter monopoly domination, or face its dire consequences. | - |
